ProsThere’s a big mall nearby, so you can pretty much get anything you need. It’s a well-developed area.
ConsThis area is a bit older and has a large immigrant population. If you're looking for somewhere more modern and younger, you might want to consider another area.

Since there’s such a big shopping mall, Metropolis at Metrotown, right by the SkyTrain station, this area is really convenient for everyday groceries. Central Park is another great spot nearby. It’s full of greenery and very peaceful, so I often go there for a walk.
ConsThe area around the Metrotown SkyTrain station looks a bit artificial to me. Since I like atmospheres with more nature and warmth, this area doesn’t really match my taste. Also, there are sometimes people who appear to be using drugs at night around the station, so I felt a little scared walking there at night.
