It’s close to the beach, so it’s easy to relax and chill out, especially in the summer. The houses aren’t new, but they actually have a lot of character and add to the charm of the neighborhood. You can also find so many nice, cozy cafés and restaurants around. I’ve never felt unsafe here, and it’s not noisy at night either.
Cons
Almost nothing! If I had to mention one downside, it would be that there aren’t many affordable grocery stores nearby.

The views in this area are truly beautiful. Chilling at Kitsilano Beach with the mountains and ocean in sight, and walking on tree-lined streets, is so comfortable and peaceful. Also, people I pass by often greet me with a smile, which makes me feel good. It also feels safe to walk around at night, so I feel at ease living here.
Cons
Kitsilano is a hilly area, so I think it can sometimes be hard for people who have difficulty walking to get up the roads. Also, there isn’t a reasonably priced supermarket as far as I know, so I usually go to Costco downtown. It’s a little inconvenient.
